Dr. Jacobson treats tumors of the head neck. He also provides reconstruction of complex defects of the head and neck using microsurgical techniques. Dr. Jacobson also performs surgery for facial reanimation.
He performs more than 100 microvascular surgical procedures annually. His research focuses on reconstructing the human trachea—an area for which there are limited reconstructive options and hopes that the surgery will enter patient trials soon. He has written more than 100 scholarly articles and contributed to multiple books over my career.
