Dr. Jamie Levine is a native New Yorker who received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1988; and then his MD degree in Medicine from Albany Medical College in 1992. Dr. Levine completed his residency in General Surgery at Maimonides Medical Center in 1998. He had also completed a Craniofacial Research Fellowship during his General Surgical training. He then pursued a Plastic Surgery Residency, and Microsurgery Fellowship at NYU School of Medicine completed in 2001.  

 Dr. Levine specializes in reconstructive surgery and complex microsurgery. He has multiple areas of interest all related to complex reconstruction, and he has a specific interest in 3-D modeling in reconstructive surgery. Dr. Levine has also authored well over 100 peer-reviewed publications, and co-edited a 2 volume textbook on Lower Extremity Reconstruction and continues active clinical outcomes and basic science research. Dr. Levine is currently the Director of Microsurgery and the Microsurgery Fellowship Director at NYU Langone Medical Center and was a former Director of Plastic Surgery at Bellevue Hospital. He is an Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery at NYU Langone Medical Center.
